Homemade Sports Drink

This simple, all-natural sports drink, provided courtesy of the Original Himalayan Crystal Salt Company, is an inexpensive, nutritious substitute for the bottled sports drinks on the market, which are loaded with artificial flavors, colors, and sugar. It’s great for a quick energy boost and to replenish fluids after a workout!

Servings: 2 Cups

Ingredients

  • 5 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime or lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup or 3 agave syrup
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon Original Himalayan Crystal Salt
  • 11⁄2 cups of water

Directions

  • Put the lime or lemon juice, honey, salt, and water in a blender or tumbler. Blend or shake well. Serve over ice.
