Cauliflower-Chive Cleanse Blend

I love faux mashed potatoes, made by substituting super-light, healthy cauliflower for starchy spuds. This is my riff on that original idea. The chives are key flavor enhancers, but there are lots of other things you can add for variety, such as fresh parsley or thyme or a little grated garlic or fresh ginger.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cauliflower Base Blend Click for Base Blend Recipe
  • 2 tbls low-fat milk or unsweetened plant-based milk
  • 2 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbls chopped fresh chives
  • sea salt & freshly ground black pepper

Directions

  • Warm the blend, milk, and oil in a small saucepan. Add the chives, season to taste with salt and pepper, and serve
