Chickpea-Zucchini Base Blend
Beans are amazing for you; some “blue zones” with the greatest longevity eat them as a dietary staple, but they can be calorically dense. So here I’ve added a
mild-tasting vegetable that’s super-low in calories to balance things out. If you prefer to use dried beans, soak them overnight and cook as directed.

Servings: 2 1/4 cups
- 1 15-ounce can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 2 medium zucchini, peeled and roughly chopped
- filter water
- Puree the beans and zucchini along with 3 to 4 tablespoons of filtered water until smooth, adding more water as necessary.
