Hi Missy,
My son, who is allergic to peanuts, loves to eat sunflower seed butter. How can I use it in baking. I tried tried to substitue Sunflower butter for peanut butter in Peanut butter cookies but they turned green on the inside.
All suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks for all you do, Ruth

You've stumbled upon one of the chemical oddities of baking: certain fruits and seeds can turn baked goods green!
I've had this experience with cherries myself. You might try other nut butters if you're sure he's not allergic, like almond or cashew butter.
Keep up the good work : )
With healthiest regards,
Missy
